Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Direct from the data to the 'Series of 1'

With the tool-less process of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) advantages such as individualityfunctional integration and complex geometries, freedom of design with economical manufacturability and outstanding mechanical and thermal properties are directly linked to the 3D CAD data set.

This makes the SLS process one of the most important methods for the production of visual samples and prototypes, but also for the production of standard and spare parts.

However, reproducible high product quality can only be guaranteed with a lot of technology knowledge and experience. Therefore, every production step at Kegelmann Technik is documented in detail with all process and production data and their possible interactions and dependencies. This KPQ index allows

  • the production of even large-format components
  • a consistent quality throughout all construction jobs
  • Mastery of all process steps in the entire diversity of materials (PA 11, PA12, PP)
