Vacuum casting with silicone molds is an important part of rapid prototyping with knowledge of process limitations in terms of batch sizes and component sizes. However, Kegelmann Technik’s in-house Rimflex® process extends the range of prototype manufacturing processes, improving the ability to influence costs, quality and part size in product development.
